As a Dalton school, we look at what a child can do. We give children responsibility and independency to grow. In this way, a child sees what their talents are and how to develop them. The child also learns to ask for help for the things that are still difficult. Children have the freedom to choose which tasks they will work on and keep track of their own goals. In addition, we offer extras for children, including: physical education, giftedness programs, support a growth mindset, and music, drama and yoga lessons.
